Good place to live, with minor issues.

A generally good experience so far. The move in process was simply and the staff here is incredible. They are honest, straight-forward and remember your name.

Maintenence is good and returns calls quickly and when he is falling behind he will personally let you know what the hold up is.

The neighbors are good too. Most people are young professionals and keep to themselves. They tend to be quiet and friendly. There are the occassional "rich rude kids" but they tend to leave quickly and are not an everyday occurance.

The units are decent. There is some structural damage (cracks in walls) but nothing alarming. The walls are a decent thickness but not impenetrable. But people tend to be courteous so it doesn't matter.

The view from the front of the building is of the street and occasionally the water. But the view from the back is depressing. There are some nice apartments to look at but also cheap disgusting studios. And an alley where watching people make drug deals, shoot up, light up, make a deal with a prostitute or "finish" a deal with a prostitute are common everyday occurances. You just laugh about it all with the neighbors and it's easier to deal with.

The perks are good. A 24hr small gym with sauna. Big washers and dryers in the apartment. And a wonderful rooftop deck and hot tub. Many friends have said, it is worth it for the view of Seattle from the deck. You can watch the boats on the sound, voyeur other beautiful apartments and stare at the lights of the city.

The parking garage is decent, though very small spots even for a compact and the Bell St. entrance tears the underside of your car no matter what. So don't plan on having a nice car if you live here.

Overall good for the value.
