Fantastic location and apartments with beautiful views. You can walk to everything. Now for the downside. Jim the maintenance dude is great. Snotty Donna in the leasing office, not so great. BUT, ding-dong-the-witch-is-gone. Rumor has it that Donna has moved on to another property. The construction of this building, the appliances, and general interior details are cheap. Hard to believe that Equity actually considered converting this building to condos at one time. There is no ventilation in the building so summertime can be stuffy, hot, and stifling. Parking is your typical in-city setup. Scarily, the gates to the garage are frequently left open. And when the garbage back all the way up the chute to the third floor...precious. I feel sorry for the apartments near the garbage chutes. Lastly, beware of the 5th floor apartments. Water pouring (not leaking) via the ceiling has been a recurring problem. A close friend of mine moved in and out of THREE apartments in a one year period due to water issues. We're not talking drips, we're talking major water leaks. Response by management was lax, untimely, and flippant. Hey, they do have coffee and treats in the lobby!
