Yo!

Not a bad choice

I've been here for almost a year now, and would definitely recommend this place. Rents are comparable to the other buildings in the area.

Advantages:
1. Great location - near the water, very easy exit and entry to 99. To get to the Belltown restaurants and nightclubs, you have to walk uphill one block, but you get used to it very quickly. Buses are easily available a couple of blocks away to downtown and beyond. Location is easily this building's main reason to live here.

2. Management is friendly and polite. Alan the assistant manager is great. They work with you to put things right.

3. Roof deck is pretty nice, especially on summer evenings. Great sunsets and harbor views.

4. Friendly neighbors (I like them, and hardly hear them.)

Disadvantages:
1. Like other EQR buildings, it seems kind of slapped together and fixtures are low quality, but workable.

2. Maintenance is a little slow, and a couple of times I've just had to live with some things that were wrong in my apartment.

3. I've heard of only one break-in (1st floor apartment), and two cars in the garage that got hit or scraped by another car.

4. Very rarely happens, but sometimes drunk residents will do something stupid like scratch up the mirror in the elevator or leave bottles outside the building.

5. Apartments can get quite stuffy on hot summer nights.
