Took To The Cleaners On Moveout From: missydorence Date posted: 2/28/2007 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   On my move out I was charged excessively. I tried to follow up with Horizon Realty Advisors (corporate). I saw them listed and their bad ratings on yellowpages.com. I think I'll rate them there too. I found a list of their other apartment communities on their webpage, hracommunities.com and looked some of them up on apartmentratings.com. Compared to some of the horror stories in the reviews on some of their other apartment communities they own and manage, I guess I should consider myself fortunate. My opinion is that Horizon Realty Advisors is a bad company to do rental business with. I would not recommend them. I am thinking of getting on thebbb.org and making a free online complaint on Horizon. Other tenants in some of their other apartment communities have been doing this with some success in getting overcharges resolved.
