To borrow a phrase from Bill and Ted, 700 Broadway is most excellent. The location is ideal, literally on Broadway and spitting distance from all the attractions that make Broadway famout. The construction is very good, with quality floors, bathrooms, cabinetry and wall thickness (very important for sound insulation). Windows are huge and let in lots of light.
The prices are somewhat high for the area, but the apartments are also much nicer than the other ones in the area. I found an awesome move in special which helped to mitigate the high rent.
Neighbors are very friendly and considerate from what I can gather. If they're actually all demonic clove-smoking irish tap dancers, I can't tell because the sound insulation is so good and the open hallways keep smells from other apartments from etering mine.
The parking garage is extremely secure and safe feeling. Spaces are a little tight, but people do a good job to park in the middle and be careful of their doors. Filled with high-end cars with over-protective owners (Carreras, classic T-Bird, classic M-series, etc.), and my experience has been that over-protective car owners are unlikely to back into your car or ding your doors.
It's a pretty sweet place to live, and I approve this message.

I agree with all the above except the security of the garage. My car was broken into in September while parked in the supposedly 'secure' garage. They didn't get much since I'm not one with a high-end car and fancy stuff, but it definitely made me feel less safe.
FYI, the new managers are great.
