Alcyone Apartments

Awfull Alcyone From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/7/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   Do yourself a favor & DON'T consider the Alcyone. It is an overpriced Vulcan, Harbor, PEMCO, marketing scheme. The neighborhood is transitional and not very clean especially if you have a dog to walk. The building is poorly constructed/designed. Noise enters units due to large gaps under the doors. There is very little circulation. There is a pub/restaurant tenant that generates noise and more refuse than the trash areas can handle. The parking garages are often unsecure due to consistent breaking of the garage and man doors. The nearby recording studio keeps very late hours. Consider the noise and dust created by construction projects that include Alley 24, the yellow building/block near PEMCO/REI, and the Fariview Street car.
