Alcyone- Way Over-rated

I don't think I have gotten one good nights sleep since I have moved into Alcyone Apartments. There is construction going on everywhere. I was never told before signing my lease that a trolley station was going built right behind my apartment or about all the condos going up nearby. On top of that there is a rap studio behind the apartment building a and pub downstairs. I also have to deal with the recycling truck coming and let me tell you listening to hundreds of glass bottles being dumped into the truck is loud as hell. My neighbors have been asked on several occasions to pick up after their dog. They just let him out on a shared porch and don't even look to see if or where he went. I am astounded at the total lack of consideration. When I had guests over I wanted barbecue and had to remove their dogs poop myself, so we wouldn't be looking at while we were eating. I am paying $1800 for rent, $75/month for parking. There have been times when the alley is blocked from both sides and you can't get out. The oven is a piece of crap, for what I am paying I expect stainless steel. There aren't even any medicine cabinets in the bathrooms. Don't waste your time or your money. If you can afford this rent, you might as well try and buy a condo. At least it will be an investment, instead of a total loss of money.
