Alki Beach Properties

60th Ave Nightmare!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/18/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   I looked at a couple of the Alki Beach property and was looking to moving into one on 60th. Had a friend that lived there and would spend time at his apt. But decided not to rent just from the experience of spending time in my friends apt. and has since moved out. I ended up moving into smaller nice apt nearby and have been living in my condo/apt next to 3 apartments managed by Alki Beach property and I agree with the previous review and just had to warn others who might be planning to move into one of these apartment. We live on 60th and have one building next to us. One across the street and one in the back of our building across the ally/driveway. I am sure there are some professional people living in these buildings but there are many you wonder how the heck they got into their apartments. Many are drinkers, smokers and big time partiers. My bedroom does not face any of the Alki Beach properties but my living room does. Parties go on all night. Drinking, yelling, profanity and just trashy people with no respect for those who have to work or respect others quality of life. We had to call the police on several occasion on one tenant who was screeming, fighting and yelling and was finally evicted but trust me more need to be evicted. One apartment has people partying in the parking lot and barbequing late at night and howling and talking at the top of their voice. I can go on and on but I think I've said enough. If you are considering one of these properties be sure you can handle living a wild college dorm like apartment with lots of drinking, partying and noise. Enough disrespectful people to make it a nightmare!! Until Alki property raises the bar on their standards for tenants it only seems to get worse by the months. Alki area does get busy in the summer months but is a great and beautiful area to live. It's too bad some of the Alki Beach Property apartments has many disrespectful party animals!!
