Deceptive Value: Poor Management, Insecure Parking From: iwhogan@aol.com Date posted: 2/28/2002 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001   WARNING: This apt is NOT worth the amount you will pay. Belltown is cheaper!! Insecure Parking Over the year and half I lived at the Allegro, my vehicle was broken into 3 times. I paid $100 per month for my parking. On the curb outside, my girlfriend's windsheild was bashed in by drunken tenants throwing rocks off the roof. The video cameras are useless partly because the management doesn't know how to use them properly. Poor Management Be careful not to stain your carpet. One unremovable stain will require you to replace the entire carpet. This is expensive!! Checking out of this building will take awhile. After three attempts and countless hours, I was finally allowed to relinquish responsibility. However, please note that management has a mixed understanding of rental policy and produce confusing, contradictory reports. Beware!! Also be prepared for a backed up garbage chute system every weekend on each floor. This is extremely tacky and smelly!
