Arbour Court Apartments

If you´ve read the others...BELIEVE IT!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/2/2003 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2003   I have lived here since 1999, went through two management companies and over 8 different office managers, (a number who have been caught stealing the rent monies). This place is a nightmare. The stench from the Somolian foods smell like rotten, rancid onions; the kids are out all hours of the night (vandalizing property), firetrucks are here almost 24/7. Police are always in here arresting someone. I can even tell you which apartments are dealing drugs and prostitution. Theres another apartment that fences stolen property (one of the bimbos got stabbed). And the new office manager is the stuffiest, B---- youd ever want to meet. If you move here - you just moved into HELL!!! Renters beware - only move here if youre on section-8 because thats what its boiling down to. All those tenants that pay full rent are vacating faster than lightning, including my family. As for parking, you might as well park your car up on Des Moines Memorial Drive - there is no parking. Especially when tenants have their family members parking in here and using the covered parking (which tenants pay for). The poor maintenance man is not only working in maintenance but hes the overall babysitter for these little cretins. As far as lighting at night, the thugs have either stolen the light bulbs out of the sercurity lights or theyve put them out of commission totally. I had not too long ago had problems with roaches. I finally collected as many as I could (still alive!) and placed them in a sandwich baggy and gave them to the office manager (who was told by a pesticide company there was no roach problem). After that, they eradicated the problem. My windows are moldy, my vents in my bathrooms and laundry room leaks and aparently, managment could care less.
