Looks are deceiving.... DON"T move here

When I first saw this apartment, I loved it!! It looked clean, the management seemed friendly, and the rent was reasonable. That all changed as soon as I moved in. I was told when I moved in that the pool was "temporarily out of order" which was fixed months later for about a week, until it was "out of order" again for the rest of my year-long lease. The other ammenities (fitness room, tanning, etc) are only available to use during office hours (Mon - Fri 9:00-6:00) when most people are at WORK. They didn't tell me any of this when I moved in. The fire alarm(s) there are the most ridiculous thing ever!!! If someone in your building's smoke detector goes off the LOUD EAR-PIERCING alarm goes off in EVERYONE'S apartment. It is unbarable to stay inside, it is so loud. It has happened at all hours of the day & night waking me and my children. Then once the alarm is triggered, the only way it can be turned off is by the Fire Department!!! So if someone just burns their dinner, the entire building has to suffer & wait up to 20 minutes for the Fire Department to show up. When my year lease was almost up, I recieved a letter stating that IF I agreed to sign another year lease they were going to raise my rent from $1090 to $1200!!! WHAT'!'!'!' Are you kidding me'' And if I chose to go month-to-month and NOT sign another lease, they were going to raise my rent to $1300!!! That is a $210.00 increase!! So don't expect your rent to stay the same after your first lease is up!!! Plus you have to pay your own water, sewage, garbage bill on TOP of the rent and the carport if you want to have a guaranteed parking spot. Basically, I am sorry that I ever fell for this place and would not recommend it to anyone. Oh, yeah, and the kids around there are out of control and have no supervision, so if you have children don't let them play outside. Expect to be kept up in the summer while the kids are running rampid around the parking lot. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
