The worst place I've ever lived

I have personally experienced every one of the problems mentioned in the previous negative reviews of this apartment community. After living here for two years things have gone from bad to worse. Im glad to finally be out of here.
My top 10 list of problems include:
1. Noisy neighbors (college kids staying up till late with stereos blasting (don't expect much action from management to get noise to stop).
2. Weird smells. A smell like a garbage dump permeates the entire building.
3. Lukewarm water with low water pressure, including some mornings with no hot water at all. Anticipate taking a cold shower at least twice a month.
4. Unresponsive office and maintenance staff. Be prepared to make several requests before they take any notice. The office has the highest turnover rate of any place Ive ever lived; 6 office staff have left in the last year.
5. Elevators breaking down, placed out-of-service, or tied up by construction workers. If youre lucky two of the four elevators will be working. The last elevator that broke took 4 months to fix.
6. Phone and cable wiring not connected prior to move-in.
7. Poorly-designed kitchens/bathrooms (notice the lack of drawers in the kitchen and poorly placed light switches).
8. Insecure/limited parking (discovered one car with its front and rear windows smashed out late one evening; no security; no assigned parking spaces; difficult to maneuver in and out of spaces; stalls designed for 2 cars have been repainted to fit 3 cars).
9. Lack of temperature control. Individual units have no control over their temperature. In the winter, when the building heat gets turned on, expect apartment temps in the 80s with no way to cool it down. If it gets too cold the electric heater in living room puts out less heat than a hair dryer. Dont expect much action from management to turn down the heat.
10. Poor building security. Secure doors are being propped open all day by maintenance workers allowing anyone off the street to enter.
The move-in specials are definitely not worth the hassles of living here. Thats very sad because these apartments are situated in a great location (on the fringes of Belltown close enough to all the action yet far enough off the main drag so as not to be bothered by the noise), with some impressive choices of views (downtown, Elliot Bay, Space Needle, or Lake Union). Good Luck!!!
