The rent is more then reasonable for the size of the apartment. Love the closet space and hard wood floor in the kitchen. The roof top garden is absolutely a plus and the food mart down stairs is so very very convenient! Love the old people in the building and the apartment seems to keep out the noise of our neighbors above and below.
It's kind of a guess on weather or not you will have hot water but usually it will stay relatively warm for you. The parking garage isn't very safe. My biggest complaint would have to be the smell. Now I don't know if I have the misfortune of living next to a stinky neighbor or if it's just a stinky building but there just seems to be an old musty smell through out my floor. Overall though I like the place. One warning for you if you are thinking of living here, when we came to look at the apartment and asked the price range they were playing big big time games with us. Just be smart and aim low otherwise they will get ya for much more then need be.
