When I first signed a lease here, I was very thrilled with the location, grounds and the seemingly pleasant office people. However, I soon after learned that the office folks were nothing more than a bunch of jerks with no formal training in customer service. They treated me like I was stupid for even questioning them on stuff. Maintenance sucks...it was okay when I first got got, but over the past year, the decent maintenance people took off leaving the old smelly Russian guy to run the place. The staff is a bunch of a$$es.

They accused me of sabotaging my own toilet and threatened to charge me to get it fixed, even though when they finally fixed it due to a previous renter's problem, I got no apology or anything.

My apt is also made of very shoddy materials. Doors are breaking, bathroom vent has nasty black mold in it. The temperatures aren't consistent. Staff is rude or worse, completely oblivious and confrontational on anything.

I have an open maintenance request that still hasn't been taken care of from 4 weeks ago and keep getting told "they'll get to it when they can". The washers and dryers suck...consider yourself lucky if you find a set that actually works (or don't have to fight 30 other people for the same units). Parking is atrocious and a total racket. They rape you for what they can.

I haven't moved yet b/c I can't find any other place that's decently priced but will definitely be looking when my lease is up. The office also loves to tell me my rates are going up by $100/mo since they're at max capacity, but there are a TON of vacant units around.

This must've been a beautiful place in it glory but it's all gone to hell since the mgmt company doesn't take care of it.

I also found out that we have a Level III Sex Offender living in the building. Check King County Criminal Records and you see one of our neighbors. I thought they did a background check on you, and if you had any felonies, you were out. But I guess child molestation LVL III is ok? WTF? I've contacted Simpson about it but doubt I'll hear a response.
