I think other reviewers are being nitpicky, yes sometimes the water is light orange but really no one should drink city water unfiltered anyway. And its only ever been the kitchen that I've noticed. Its an older building so the pipes arent brand new but its also pretty quiet because its all concrete. As far as homeless sleeping in the laundry room I have never seen anything like that and i've been here for 3 years. They are also getting all new washers and dryers in a month so that will be nice, they have this cool phone system where the computer will call your phone when the washer or dryer is finished so you wont forget your laundry. Yes some people leave their laundry in the machines too long but that shouldnt reflect on the building and it happens wherever you go. There are a few larger apartments with w/d in the unit. Its a pretty secure building and I feel safe here which is most important to me. The maintenance people fix things quickly and are very nice. Lately the heat hasnt been cranked up in the winter so the utilities bills are less. Unless you live right at the bottom of the building and have your window open the city sounds arent that bad, I drown them out with a fan anyway. About prices, the managment company seems to think that the building is perfect despite these few things like the water and they ask for prices that are a little high especially since like another person said there are not going to be any more views in a few years. Considering all the amenities in the building and the current rental market its not totally out of line.
Oh yeah I forgot the leasing staff and concierge...they are great! If the concierge is gone the leasing agents will get stuff for you and they are super friendly and helpful. They never act like they dont have time for you. Having someone sign for my packages and keep them safe until I come home is the second most important thing for me.
