It is what it is...

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I've lived here for over a year now. I'll break it down...
The Cons are:
*Odd assisted living people. Although they don't seem to cause me problems, some seem to just linger by the front door at times. Hey, people have to live somewhere, right'
* Vitos was a problem with noise / shady people starring you down when you walked by, but their club closed after someone was shot! The day there was blood everywhere in the basement, no joke.
*Roach problem. It's funny, sometime it'll be weeks and week in between seeing the roached, but like taxes they never go away. The roaches are gross, but on bad weeks i'll see two a day so it's not a huge infest (though seeing one EVER is too many)
*Hallway smells.....
* Small apartments
* The building is run down
The Pros are:
* Rent is DIRT cheap - You are living four blocks away from the library and walking distance to everything downtown.
* Utilities are INCLUDED.
*Management has always been kind to me.
* Did I mention that the rent is cheap'
It is what it is... If you pay really cheap rent and live pretty much downtown, your building is going to be run down a bit. If you're looking for luxury apartments, don't live here. I don't plan on living here for much longer - but for the time being it's fine. If you are a single female, don't move here... The neighborhood is fairly safe, but unless you are used to an urban environment, you won't feel safe.
