They are turning this building into Condo's so do not waste your time on this site. Current tenants were given an invitation to attend a meeting on 8/20/05 so we can receive our exclusive offers to buy our units.
This building is a joke. Half the time the front gate does not shut properly. The manager has her kids in courtyard all summer were they ride their bikes around and make a lot of noise. Who do you complain to about that'

if by "the gate does not close properly" one means you cannot walk through and SLAM it shut behind you, as most people do, you are correct. It will not close properly under those conditions because the mechanism has to have a chance to connect before it bounces back out from the force of folks slamming it. The proper way to close a door behind you is to hold it by the handle and close it. It used to have a spring mechanism that would close it behind the careless residents, but that was broken by people yanking on it so hard it snapped. Most folks don't care enough and just swing the door behind them until it slams so hard you can hear it from the top floor---very rude---and not a management, or maintenance, or building malfunction issue. Just common sense and courtesy will solve that problem.
