Shoty upkeep and uncaring owners! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/15/2007 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2007   Ever since we have moved in to these apartments all we have heard is..."there is no way the owners will pay for that." lets examine what we have asked for... our garbage disposal to be fix... we asked to hire someone to fix it cause the maintenance person was out of town for a week. when that request was made the response was... its not in the tenant laws so we don't have to do it. you can hire someone and pay for it your self. Second instance... We wanted cable in out rooms. when the building was built they (for some reason) only wired the living room. So we call the manager and asked... the response again was... I know the owners won't pay for that.... We are talking $34.00 for two outlets... Come on! so deposits... Some how we were able to see the move out report for the previous tenants when we moved in... it showed on their move-out that they had deducted some amount to clean mold on the bathroom ceiling.... That mold is still there today... so basically what I have conquered is... the owners try to cheat people out of money, and treat their tenants badly and try to skimp just to put an extra dollar in their pocket.
