WON'T REFUND SECURITY DEPOSIT From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/29/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Management changed during course of my lease. Owner did not have a problem asking for hefty security deposit and pet deposit which I paid timely. I moved out on 7/2005 and I even paid out of my own pocket for a professional carpet cleaner to clean the carpets. Lease stipulates that I should get my security deposit refund back within 14 days of moving out (which is also a state law). Today is August 29th and still have not received a dime back from owner/property manager. Have been calling manager every day regarding status and not once has my phone call or voicemail been returned. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau above this. Will also contact the Attorney General's office if not effective with the BBB.
