They close you with lies, just to get you to sign.

I have been living here for two years. When I first moved in, I did not like the constant sound of sirens on the Boren Avenue side. They had promised that once another unit on the other side opened up they would allow me to move to a new and quiter unit. That promise was made and I kept checking in month after month and they kept telling me that no one has moved and there weren't any units available. I know this is a lie because I have seen the moving trucks and there were people who did move. The management had never tried to contact me to make sure I was satisfied. They were just satisfied that they had me locked into a contract. The noise is horrible and the price is way too steep for this run down apt.
When I moved in, they did not replace the carpet. They said that they would clean it and try to get the stains out. After a couple of weeks the stains re-appeared in the carpet. Another way that I feel that I was stuck and feel like the manager is as dirty as the carpets. However, the assistant manager is wonderful. She is always helpful and nice.
