I'm just finishing a year at the Avanti and will definitely not be renewing my lease. The apartments are highly overpriced for the amount of space they offer and the traffic noise on Boren is loud at all hours.

The management was highly unresponsive to issues. At one point my entire balcony and windows were blocked off for almost a month for construction and I was given no concession. In fact when I asked for one at the beginning of the construction project I was told by Tamantha, "Oh yes, we can definitely discuss it when they're done." Once they were done and I approached her again she said they would do nothing for me and when I pointed out that she had said she would be happy to discuss it she said, "Well, we're discussing it." In addition the balcony was bordered by very unhealthy and diseased looking plants which I was not allowed to remove and replace despite the fact that several of my neighbors had done so. The managers are nice, but "nice" doesn't translate to "good."

Hi Zach-
You were offered a giftcard, which you denied. Why would you post such a untrue review?

Tamantha, you offered me a $50 Starbucks giftcard and I don't drink coffee. I didn't feel it was an acceptable concession for taking away my balcony and blocking my windows with scaffolding and a mesh that blocked all the light to my apartment for a month. I wrote the review that I told you I was going to write. Which part was untrue? I didn't even include the information that no inspection was made when the work was finally completed and my balcony was littered with garbage and rusty wire.

Here's a thought; have someone come to your house and put contact paper over all your windows and nail your back door shut for a month. I'll give you a $50 Starbucks card at the end of that month. Acceptable to you?

"Untrue review." For actual grievances you get called a liar by the management, now THAT'S what I call customer service. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.
