Best Place In White Center! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/8/2001 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001   I have lived at The Avenues for a year and I must say that it is the best apartment in White Center. The area in known for slumlords but the manager, Mike, offered 5-star treatment to us and made us feel comfortable and very, very SAFE! He responded to our issues almost immediately. He is very active in preventing crime in his community and I think it is awesome. Especially to be that proactive in such an area is very commendable. Great guy with a great attitude. Need more landlords like him. UPDATE: Mike left the apartment to manage somewhere on the eastside. What a loss for the community. I don't understand why the management could not keep him happy here. He was doing such a excellent job. Now, it feels as if we are open season to criminals now that he is gone. I'm not going to stay any longer than my lease permits me to. I wish I am able to work close to the apartments Mike is managing now because I know he will make a difference there and provide top-notch service for his residents.
