great place to live if you don't like your car or being dry From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/25/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   soooooo i've lived in ballinger commons for about 16 months now. unfortunately i decided to renew my lease back in august simply because it was too expensive to move. should have done it. my problems began with my car being broken into and my stereo being stolen. less than a month later my entire car was stolen. TWO DAYS after getting my car back and fixed up, it was stolen again. During this same time, we had THREE instances of flooding in our apartment. The first was our own washing machine breaking and flooding our kitchen and dining room. The second was an upstairs neighbors washing machine breaking and flooding us from two floors up and an apartment over. Our entire apartment was soaked and the walls got awful water damage which was never fixed. The third flood was when an upstairs neighbors water heater leaked into our closet, ruining many pieces of clothing and soaking in the wall. after all this we were informed that we, like another review i owed the complex 450 dollars for my electricity. i'm ready to move now.
