Don't rent here. They will lie and steal money. Details inside.
The management company for this place are known extortionists. I've been told as much by people who work for them. Please do yourself a favor and live somewhere else. We cleaned up everything and turned in the keys on the day the lease was up andā¦Ā See More >anonymous

HORRIBLE!!
This is the worst place I have ever called home!! Disgusting! No heat this winter and the owners are slum lords. Over priced and dirty! No parking, laundry machines steal your money, and the building is full of drug users. I felt awful for theā¦Ā See More >rowdyandrew

BE AWARE: these people offer rent discounts for positive reviews
Hands down, this is the WORST PLACE I have ever lived! Notice the only good reviews have been recently? The manager, no doubt encouraged by his boss, has offered people discounts for positive reviews. I have spoken to people who have received the offer andā¦Ā See More >rebeccadeangelo777

Love the Biltmore
I've lived at the Biltmore for six years. It was built in the early 20's and they've made sure to keep all of the cute little features from that time intact. Each apartment is unique and you can always find something that you didn't noticeā¦Ā See More >gabbyrenter

A good place to live.
I've lived in the Biltmore for about 4 years. Generally speaking, I have been very happy with my apartment and with the building in general. Starting with the positives, the building itself is very beautiful, and it's in an exceptionally convenient location on Capitol Hill, nextā¦Ā See More >jessif138

good place
I've lived at the Biltmore for two years. I really like my apartment. Management has been friendly. The occasional water shut-offs for repairs have been the only annoyance, but it's been a while since that's happened, and I understand.ā¦Ā See More >jammiebear

the good old biltmore
I really enjoy my time at the Biltmore, not only is it in an excellent location on Capitol hill within walking distance of almost anything you could need. The building is old but its in pretty good shape and is very nice from the outsideā¦Ā See More >Glory4ever

Apartment Manager
This all too petty apartment manager not only stabbed me in the back but did it with a smile on his face. When I first arrived to the Apartment building to move in (after a long drive from California) I was given the keys andā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Dont move in there!
During my stay at the Biltmore we had 1 guy that shot a gun out of his bedroom window into the courtyard in the middle of the night and multiple false fire alarms after midnight. There are drug deals going on through 1st floor windowsā¦Ā See More >thopfinger

Sky high prices
Jesus lord the prices are sky high. I use to stay there in the 80's. I lived in the basement, next to the laundry. My studio was only 175.00 a month, lol. Lots of room I turned it into a one bedroom. Walk in closetā¦Ā See More >anonymous

THEY WILL RAISE YOUR RENT OVER AND OVER AGAIN
As soon as your 6-month lease is up expect a major increase- my rent has gone up nearly $300 in 2 years. And don't bother trying to get a year-lease up front, they won't give you one. They seem to be betting on tenants coughingā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Beautiful building, but not worth the price!
I think that after seeing the six story turreted brick building covered in ivy most people would agree that the Biltmore is one of the most beautiful buildings in Capital Hill -- I certainly think so. But after living there for two years I wouldā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Character building, but overpriced and under-maintained
I chose the Biltmore after looking at several apartments in the area. It was on the high-end of the spectrum for what I wanted to pay for a studio, but it was the largest in terms of useable square feet. It's a beautifulā¦Ā See More >Biltmore Apartments
