Yo!

The Bradbury and Zindorf

I rented from Pinnacle Realty (Zindorf and Bradbury) for 6 years and took on the cleaning of the buildings for several years. Over that time, I've seen the two buildings go from bad to good to bad again. The management can't take all the blame. The owner's of the property seemed to be unwilling to hire more staff to keep the places up. With the food bank across the street, the area is usually littered with food (The food bank gave no replies on taking responsibility for trash generated.) Some tenants have no respect for where they live and use the hallways as trashcans. Some tenants are "used to that sort of thing". The homeless usually hang out not far from the front door. The halfway house next door has been spoken to many times and will respond in a timely manner and do what they can to improve any problems -- they are required to. Sometimes, when people are overworked and underpaid and feel they have no say, they tend to give up. I no longer live in the Bradbury - I spent two years cleaning up the 1 bedroom I lived in and management was up against a wall when I requested new windows. Come to think of it, my number is still programmed into the entry system after all this time. My cell phone rings at least once a day. Scary to think of how many others still have access to the building through a cell phone (The new system installed a few years back accepts cell numbers and can turn your cell phone into an "electronic key". I've requested several times to have my number removed, but it's still in there. I can understand both sides, but the customer is always right. I do love the buildings, though. They have great historical value. It would be great to see them treated as such. There is always a neighborhood improvement project, funding can be saught through the city of Seattle. More power in numbers... lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
