Wow, things have changed!

I moved into the building in mid-July, and the new on-site manager has turned this place around. The drug dealers were kicked out in my first month and the problems with security, vandalism, and lound noises in the hall disappeared with them. The mix of tenets has become more professional, less students. Quite a few people work at nearby hospitals. Parking during the day is hard to find sometimes, but after 5pm it has never been a problem for me to find a spot next to the building. Current manager is timely in getting repairs in work, they gave me a new sink to replace a leaking one. Lobby is decorated, as are hallways. Washers were overflowing, manager got new higher capacity washers and dryers installed. Laundry room door was fixed, and I have not heared of anything being stolen out of there since I've been putting stuff in there. Trash on sidewalks around building is picked up daily and building grounds maintained. During the summer there were homeless guys wandering outside of the building, but I no more than anywhere else this close to downtown. The onsite manager Mia is courtious and helpfull. I have a studio and love the old style layout. I would recommened this to anyone who wants to live in the city.
