Burke Gilman Place Apartments

Exercise caution From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/14/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   Apartment management staff is very difficult to deal with. They will often not respond to phone calls, or are rude on the phone, requiring personal visits to the office. Maintenance is slow and inconsistent to respond to work requests. We were not permitted to view our apartment until the lease was signed and we found that the unit was not adequately cleaned. Several of the window blinds were missing and were not replaced until 4 weeks, numerous phone calls, and office visits later. More recently, there have been loud eruptions between tenants in the parking lots, including threats of lethal violence. The bathroom facitlity at the immediately adjacent park is a regular hangout for young adults who openly drink alcohol and smoke marijuana while the children play on the playground 30ft away. The garbage problem has improved as of late and the bins do not overflow regularly. In summary, I recommend caution when applying for an apartment in the complex
