Well I have been here for about 6 months...taking a shower especially during the colder months can be tricky....if your neighbors near you are already taking a shower then you will have maybe warm water. I'm not sure but if someone uses the washing machine downstairs then the water pressure becomes very poor....really if your neighbors are using the shower the pressure is not great! You can be in the middle of a hot shower then your neighbor turns on the water and now your getting barely warm water...that sucks!!!

Since this is a older building the old windows are still in place and you can just place your hand about 4-5 inches from the window during the colder months and feel a pretty good cold draft!!! So poor insulation means you need to have the heat on more! But you get what you pay for!!! I could pay 1300-1500 for a nice apt in the hood and get the luxury. I guess I would recommend if you know what your getting in to' I mean if they fix the plumbing and windows the rent would go up I guess....but if that happens you might as well rent from the more up to date apts in the hood then'
