My suspicion is that the vast majority of negative reviews are written by one or two people posting multiple reviews. Is parking really THAT big a deal to you people' Guess what' YOU LIVE IN THE CENTER OF A MAJOR METROPOLITAN AREA. Parking is NEVER easy in cities, and, coming from NYC, you sound like a bunch of whiny idiots complaining about parking. Parking in nyc, at its CHEAPEST is at least $450 a month, and that is not attached to your building; it is 4 miles away in a godawful neighborhood you have to take a bus to in order to reach. Guest parking is ample if you consider that walking 90 seconds to the Cascade Terrace complex from nearby ample parking space in the surrounding neighborhood is not a great inconvenience.
In addition, with regard to management, any of you who complain are really, really spoiled and whiny idiots or I am totally missing something, because, thus far, the management has gone out of their way to accommodate me and my housemates and has been very polite. Same to be said with the maintenance staff. Previous landlords I have had make these people look like saints; a bad landlord or management staff is one who systematically harasses you, comes into your apartment without warning, is not upfront with paperwork, and not available during regular business hours. None of this is true about the management here. Upfront, courteous and friendly is more accurate. Similarly, I've seen complaints about safety. The neighborhood could not be quieter or calmer, and anyone who is concerned about safety issues needs a serious reality check or a trip to Baltimore or the slums of L.A.
Finally, the prices are totally decent. If you want a cheaper apartment with more space well then I'll see you in Fantasy Land Apartments, because they don't exist. All in all, a totally acceptable apartment complex, with reasonable prices, friendly service, and pleasant interior space.
