Parking lot is a target for break-ins From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/20/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   Sure, there are plenty of complaints about the crappy parking, and they are valid. But if you move in here, pay the extra $55 dollars and get a spot in the garage. I have been living here for 6 months, I have an uncovered spot in the general lot, and my car has been broken into TWICE already!! The first time it was actually stolen. Then I got it back. Then it was broken into again 2 weeks later. My friend lived here prior to me and her car was broken into 3 TIMES! The actual apartment living isn't bad, but I'm a little pissed about my car, especially since this apartment parking lot apparently has a reputation for being a target for car thefts/break-ins. I don't know how many others there have been, but I did see the car next to me had a window smashed one day. The bottom line is, obviously there are thiefs that prowl this parking lot, since it is very badly lit and there is no surveillance. Just something to think about. Oh yeah, the new brown color is HIDEOUS!!!
