I moved in this building in the summer of 2003, and had a good time for nearly one year. Then, the new owner and management took over and it became a nightmare.
The worst thing that happened was that my credit card was stolen from my apartment while I was out.
Noise is also a big problem, as there are some young kids in the building, who often have loud parties, and sometimes even break the lock to go up to the roof.
The manager would not deal with these problems, as it doesn't bring the owner any income --- tenants' requests are often met by the reply "It is not in our interests to do this".
I would not recommend this building to anyone.

This reviewer must be living in a fantasy world. I lived there during the same time, even longer, and none of these issues are true. Like all buildings, there is an occasional party that runs too late or too loud, and because it's a nice building, it has been the target of petty thieves breaking into cars, but the management and owners have rountinely upgraded security measures and there hasnt been any problems like that in over a year now. As for maintenance issues in my apartment (if any), the manager responded quickly and anything we needed was taken care of as soon as possible. As for the manager not dealing with the issues the reviewer claims, I suspect this former tenant is just unhappy in general and like most people, needs to blame someone else. The manager was nice, friendly and accomadating.
