Nice apartment, sketchy neighborhood From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/25/2002 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002   This is overall a pretty nice place to live. The building is kept in impeccable shape by the managers and they are quick to respond to any concerns, and noise has never been a problem. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, though. The building is right off Greenwood Ave next to Leilani Lanes bowling alley and a multitude of check cashing/payday loans places, which in itself means nothing but doesn't really give it much of a neighborhood feel. There have been a number of car break-ins in the parking garage, and no one seems to be able to stop it, it actually seems safer to park it outside although parking is tight when Leilani is busy. I also think the rent is a bit on the high side for this neighborhood, too, but I give the apartment itself a thumbs up.
