My experience with The Clarwood has been nothing but perfect so far, the manager Shannon is very friendly and nice, she made the whole process very convenient and pleasant, They been awesome at making sure all my needs are met by having maintenance come out to repair everything I have requested and other things that need to be renovated(its always nice to know things will get taken care of). If your into an old brick cozy style place w/ great access to the city then this is the home for you & the best part is they are pet friendly!


The neighborhood is a bit rough but honestly I don't mind it, It's the city and you can't expect everything to be perfect.


Laundry room on sight is a bit exspensive ($1.75 to wash, $1.50 to dry) so that is a negative for me. However utilities for everything(power, sewage, trash, water etc..) is only a flat rate of $45 which I find to be one of the biggest perks of the whole place!

Parking hasn't really been much of an issue yet for me Im use to the street parking of seattle/capitol hill and it should be even better when my zone pass comes in.


The building is pretty quiet overall but sound does seem to travel pretty easy throughout the halls, maybe due to my apartment still being pretty empty.

Overall, im stoked :-)
