Yo!

Looks are deceiving

This apartment looked pretty good at first. I should have known from the first meeting with the staff that it would be all downhill from here. Our paring spot was given to multiple tenants by mistake. Our car was towed from our own parking spot! Our W/D has NEVER worked and has actually walked out of the closet and broken the door. The walls are so thin I can hear my downstairs neighbor snore at night. Dogs bark all day long and there is dog feces in the yard- always. The sauna has been out of service since day 1. The exercise room is nothing more than a broken treadmill and a defunct weight machine in a closet. Management is completely lacking- noise complaints were given to us for nights when we had been on vacation. Past due notices for bills were posted on our door when we hadn't even recieved a first bill. Rent checks would be held on to for weeks. Packages were lost and then recovered weeks later- they stock everything in a closet and it's a big mess. They keep no log of packages if they come in and just say sorry if you can't locate something- the room stays unlocked even when nobody is there. Not too safe. No copy of the lease was presented even when we requested it several times. Maintanence does not schedule visits- they have a four day window at which they can enter at any time. However, they never actually came when I requested- only when the office needed to check the fire alarm. Then, they shut my cat in the closet and then left her there for her to scratch at the carpet- which they charged me for.
Stairs are concrete and right next to bedrooms. Any tenant who comes or goes sounds like an ogre stomping. It's just a ridiculous apartment. Moving out was a relief.
