And as picky as I was, it was hard. I was referred to his site by a co-worker and in the pass have not pursued it because of the price. However, when I shopped around, the price is fair, especially for an apartment that accepts pets and has a w/d in the unit. It's on the bus line, and close to shopping areas. I work close by and the park has been a pleasure for my dog. The area is close to Aurora Ave., so expect some of the troubles that come with living in that area. However, the property does have a security option for your apartment and a security company that drives the lot and checks the property daily. Maintenance issues come with all properties and the company has been diligent in dealing with them. Remember, it is your job to look at all the detail before you move in. It's going to be your home, do the work. Parking was a big issue for me, I chose to move into the part of the property that had ample parking. I have 2 cars and have no problems finding parking. So far, so good. I enjoy living at Bitterlake.
