I'll be honest, the location (for a UW student) cannot be beat. However, that's about all the good I see in this place. When I first moved in the place was a mess (and it was supposedly professionally cleaned). There were food stains in the fridge, dust on the blinds, and food in the cabinets. The carpets in the hallways have probably never been washed. And the floors look dingy. The pipes will keep you up. There is constant tapping in my apartment. There is a mold invasion in my bathroom. I don't feel a true sense of privacy. Part of it has to do with the bathrooms being next to the hallway. So that means that you will hear people's toilets flush and then you will have to smell it. You also smell what people eat (and that is not always pleasant). The walls are thin (despite what the managers tell you). Do yourself a favor if you're going to pay appx. 1000 dollars a month...go to a nicer place. If you don't care (which many people don't) then by all means join the community. I have a 1bdrm, the space is okay. The managers are friendly enough. Maintenance is okay. Parking is impossible. Carefully think about everything before you sign the lease.
