The Coronado is nothing fancy to look at from the outside--it mostly resembles a multi-storied roadside motel. However, the management staff is helpful and efficient and the one-bedrooms (available in 2 different floor plans) are a generous size for the price. Loud noises and voices can carry through the walls, but I've been in more expensive apts that are much worse.
At the time I lived there, basic cable was included with the rent. Some mold and ventilation problems; my living room window lacked a screen so I couldn't open it very far because I have cats. But at least they allowed cats.
This is a good apt for someone new to the area who doesn't have a lot of cash or time to search for a place (vacancies were pretty frequent due to UW students moving in and out). I experienced no major problems while living there.
