I lived here for about 2 yrs. This place is full of lowlife people. I woke up at night to the sounds of people throwing up off their balconies as well as I got to listen to the wonderful sounds of people peeing off their balconies. People threw their trash off their balconies as well as grocery carts etc. There was gunfire in the floor above me and a woman was thrown off the 7th floor. I thought I was going to lose it towards the end. The people have no consideration for life itself. They let their kids run in the hallways and throw their garbage there as well. Would come home to find underwear, food and other nasty things lying in the hallway. One night i was watching cops and then i realized that the place they were showing was actually from Mallard Lake. I was so thankful to get the hell out of there. I also was lucky enough to have my car towed from my own parking spot and the management didnt seem to think it was a big deal and that I should have to pay for it to be unimpounded.

sad how over 4 years have passed and the name has changed but it's still the same hellhole. i agree with everything said in this review, except that there are no assigned spots, anyone can get towed.

I visited there several years ago. I also noticed the garbage in halls/ elevators...It seemed an instance of neglect by the management at the time. I was actually "lured" there by the person I thought I was visiting and escaped quickly.

This place has really changed. My dad lives there now and we visited the other day. We did see kids running 'round but arent children mother natures gift to us? A chance to start fresh? I'll take the kids over the refuse and the general ghetto-ness. The security door is broken but there was no "thug" activity, no garbage (no more than other places I have seen.)

Come on people this place is located in Rat City, WA. The rents are low and the place doesn't look like Caesars Palace but what do you expect for a building located in a low income area-provided for low income people-and run by those same low income people. these apartments are for people who dont have much, dont need much and dont feel the need to overconusmerise every aspect of their life.

Whats really important is the managers take care of business and the place is close to shopping and downtown seattle bus lines.

Don't come here if you expect something more than a fairly decent LOW INCOME apartment complex. When this place was called Mallard Lake it was a nasty lot. But now things have really changed and with the number of police that peruse the area since the 90's gang explosion (which has all but died out) its definitely an option.

Besisdes. What goes on behind your neighbors door really? No matter where you live. Serial killers lurk everywhere and are much more a scary threat to me than those things listed in the reviews.

That kind of violence is personal. Don't mess with them and they wont mess with you. Serial killers and rapists have different motives-I'd worry more about them.
