I lived in this building for almost 8 years, the first few years were fine, but then when this owner bought the building- everything went downhill fast. The office staff, when they are there are almost retarded- any written notices look like they were written by a stupid 12 year old. For 6 years we had a leak in the living room that was never fully fixed- water damage on the blinds and the wall. The bathtub looked as though it was going to fall into the floor- no matter how much we cleaned there was always a black line inthe caulking- MOLD. Whenever I complained about the mold- the manager said- there is no mold! In the time I lived there, I saw open drug deals in the parking lot, a group of people butchering a hog in the trunk of their car in the parking lot- angry tenants urinating on the walls. And the smells are awful- you always know what your neighbor is cooking.
The management would change rules on a moments notice, We actually got a notice that the only things permitted on the balconies were plants and "nice" patio furniture- they even highlighted the word nice. Then they only enforced it partially- some people were "noticed to death" I got another notice after my 16th complaint about the water damage in the living room, and others were allowed to have any old thing on the balcony. Whenever the owner did any improvements they were done by surly teenagers. In the 8 years they never did any maintennance in my apartment and when I moved out- they charged me over $600 In "Damages" which included painting the apt- the first time in 8 years. Also, last year we received a notice that the rent was going from $970.00 to 1125.00 , then 30 days later we got another notice telling us oops, the rent was actually going up to 1325.00 in 30 days and no improvement to the apartment.
Run from this building- it is a dump and the owner is a money hungry jerk. They are charging rent as if this is a new building when there are actual new apartments right across the street.

One last thing- I have been out of the building for 5 months and the front door buzzer still rings my phone number.

Take another look at the "good" reviews- don't they look like they were written by the same person' Owner or staff' Isn't it odd that everytime there is a bad review posted here- someone posts a good review' Don't they all appear to have been written by the same person- The owner or manager'

This place is a dump! The managers/owners are crooks- when you move out they will charge you all expenses to flip the apartment- regardless of how long you have lived there! In 8 years there was never any preventative maintennance done. Why pay new apartment rents when you can actually rent a new apartment right across the street'

wow I think you covered it. I thankfully did not have the mold but I did get all of those notices and charges. Oh and the rent increase. I know increases will happen but they are fast here and steap. I am happy that I moved out
