I've lived here for two years. The place has gone downhill SEVERELY over the past 9 months. We've had 4 "resident managers", none of whom are ever on site. Things break and are not fixed--things like the elevator and the automatic garage door. The garage door was jammed open for over 24 hours, making the secured parking we pay $100/mo. for accessible to every transient and crackhead in Seattle. The elevator was out of order for several days because it was a holiday weekend. They spend a LOT of time fussing with the landscaping, but no time at all doing things like vacuuming inside the building or cleaning up the sidewalk areound the dumpster. The homeless use the alcove the dumpster is in as a toilet--and not just for number ones, either. I'm afraid to go near the dumpster anytime of day other than high noon. Our current manager communicates with tenants by leaving passive aggressive notes posted in public areas. I had a reapir that would be considered hazardous to health(which law mandates must be addressed withing 24 hours) ignored for 3 weeks. In addition. there have been 3 seperate occasions where I have been asked to stay home to admit the maintenance company to my unit, and they have neither shown up nor bothered to cancel.

The kitchen is tiny--only one upper cabinet and two lower. Another rent increase letter arrived yesterday. Also, the rent they quote you does not include garbage. Expect to pay an extra $60/mo.

The building is in a good location, and it's pet friendly. I never hear the neighbors. I was happy here until very recently, but the poor maintenance and now the rent increase is the straw that broke the camel's back. I am looking for a new place to live.

To RP Management: The high vacancy rate in this building will continue until you begin to address problems of substance. QUIT HYPERFOCUSING ON THE PLANTING BEDS AND DO SOME REAL WORK AROUND HERE!
