Maybe if there wasn't a shooting 3 months ago I'd have considered renewing a lease here. Saddly I signed the 1 year lease. I knew about the section 8 housing situation, but didn't realize the huge hassle of the nightmarish application process until after I had committed to moving my family here. This place has a Seattle address but dont be confused, this is the ghetto of Renton. I don't even care to write anymore about this dissapointment. If you are stupid enough to move here you get what you deserve.

I looked into the shooting that happened at Creston Point and both men involved did not live there. I love living at Creston Point and the paperwork was a breeze because I had everything thing I needed together for them in the office. I know that things happen at Creston Point, but doesn't it everywhere???? As for the Sec. 8 issue you mentioned, how rude!!! As any program, there are always a few people that abuse the system, but how dare you sterotype all of us on the program. There is a wonderful office and maintenance crew that work there and there is nobody that can deny that... unless you yourself has caused problems. I have put in several request for the maintenance to come and they come the same day!!! The office is open more then anywhere I have ever lived and the after school programs that they do for the kids are wonderful. What other place can you go to around here that does so much for us???

Thank you, it is amazing how a crime can destroy a neighborhoods reputation. It is one or two cirminals that ruin it for the whole bunch. We have to work to gether for a better tomorrow and means reclaiming our neighborhoods, and Creston point and their management team is the first to try and do so. Onsite Prgramming for kids, camps, tutoring, events, this is just an amazing facility.

Who were the idiots that decided to build and the bureaucrats that approved the project without adequate ingress and egress and proper crosswalks. It is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when a child gets killed on MLK because of the debacle. Candycoat it anyway you like but crime is rampant there based on nightly high speed police visits.
