I would not recommend anyone living at the Creston Point Apartments. At first i thought this would be the perfect place to live in the perfect area, oh how wrong i was. This is the slums in this communtiy. Cars packed in like sardines, kids out street you can't even pass through with your car without some idiot kid standing there and won't move until they get ready and stare at you like your doing something wrong by wanting to enter the apartment complex to get to your place of residence. I am utterly and totally disgusted at this place. I do give it to the maintenance they try to keep the place up but the people here are disgusting and nasty and disrespectful as disrespetful gets. There was one instance where one of the maintenance guys were telling the kids that the pool was being closed and they would have to leave, me and my children got up to leave and there go some little disrespectful boy staying int he pool talkin about "i aint' going no ------- where"! Just sick it turned my stomach, and where was his mom's humph! This place would be nice if they would of screened better for tenants. No they wanted to get a kick back from tax credit program and get folks in so they can receive monies for rent. Its so bad because i believe they got too many people living in the apartment with Section 8, not to say that people on section 8 that are not respectful because i am one of them that goes to work every day and take care of my children and watch them closely. But the majority in this complex are not. They give the statistics new life with there behavior and their childrens behavior. There has been a murder and rape and numerous assaults here and this place has barely made two years old. Damn shame. I would have to say that the management i have had good experience with, they have been nice and courteous to me and my children. I just wish they would become a little mor vigilant about taking care of the misfits in the complex, its ashame that such a nice looking place has to be runned down into the ground. The only complaint i have about Creston Point quality of apartments is the painting they did on the inside. Its cheap and its flat paint with no gloss which mean that you can't wipe the walls down without removing paint. And there suggestion is to my a magic eraser to clean ur walls, that doesnt work because even water stains the walls if you was to check every tenants walls you would see what im talking about. I hope they don't charge for that when people move out, you can't use cheap unglossed paint and expect the walls to stay clean and to be able to receive money from it. I am afraid for my childeren to go outside to play because of the numerous amount of unruley childeren that reside here and there friends that don't. It is horrible and i hope something can be done about this place. Ive been looking for another place to live and it seems that alot of apartments homes are not accepting section 8, now i see why. I am seriously considering giving up my section 8 and working two or three jobs just so i don't have to live in a place like this. Ive done research on income qualification apartment homes in other states and it is the same result, horrible conditions. This is so sad and i have become so disgusted with people here, alot of them have no sense of pride or respect. I repeat some of them not all but the majority here are disrespectful and sick. I can't even step out my door without smelling the weed smoke and piss and look down to see spit all over the place. Its loud at night can't get no sleep i can go on...please don't move here if you want peace and comfort. If you like dope dealers, prostitutes, gang memeber kids and trash all over the place by all means move in. Again i feels sorry for the management and maintenance because they are trying hard but not hard enough.
