Yo!

The Nicest Deposit Thieves EVER!!

I loved living there for 2 years. The building is well maintained and the manager is great and very responsive. The apartments are a bit "cookie cutter" and of course the noise from Aurora is annoying. But overall it is a wonderful place to live. The only issue is when you move out, all pleasantness disappears. After 2 years of being a quiet, non complaining, responsible tenant I got burned. BEWARE your lease states that your deposit covers paint and cleaning and is convieniently vague and supports inflated costs upon moving out. Before I left I went as far as changing the stove pans and cleaning behind the stove and fridge...I deep cleaned, not that it was dirty or anything was broken, but because I wanted to leave it ready for the next tenant. LONG story short my deposit was NOT refunded because of a $480 paint bill (excessive if you ask me) and a convienient cleaning bill which brought the total just over what my original deposit owed.
The moral of this story' Great place to live, just dont expect ANY of your deposit back, no matter how hard you try.
