Okay I've just leased with the Edwards and ----- the leasing manager is Shakey. She doesn't conduct leasing business from an office, she only uses a mobile phone without a corporate voicemail she is very sneaking offering a Visa Card for $1000 for move in then when you are ready to get a lease she tells you that it can only be applied towards rent. This isn't a problem but don't lie to get people interested. She was offering 9 month leases the she changed to 10,then ll now only 12 month. I have to admit they have gutted out and cleaned the place up. New paint, now carpet, new elevator, kitchens have faux hardwood, new black appliances, the studios are small but that's okay. Rent is ranging from 895 to 995 for 507 sq ft. That's about right. There are literally only 2 washers on site and 2 dryers for 50 apartments - Not good. Parking is uncovered in the alley next to 2 bars, an Asian place and a pizza place. Homeless are swarmming all the time but that's just Belltown and downtown living. Not too shabby but I haven't moved in yet so we'll see in a month or so.
I'm worried because one review said the walls were thin.
Get management info in writing - its not good that ----- is presenting herself like she is the owner and residents have to go through her to get anything done. She is an employee and if she is taking that type of ownership then what's she doing when you are away from your apartment'
