I lived at this complex for a little over a year and couldn't wait to find a new place. Construction on the courtyard started a week after we signed our lease pprs with no warning what-so-ever, and when we moved out a year and three months later, nothing else had been done on it. The rooftop access has been closed since July of 04 and even then it was only opened for a month, so I would say access was open for a total of two months time while I lived there. And the hottub has never worked/been opened since I moved in. I was told it would be fixed within two months.. I think they finally removed it in september. The mgmt also cannot seem to get any of the theft undercontrol at all. I was told while I was moving the last of my things that a woman who parked her car in the "remote-accessed, secure" parking garage, had her car stolen for the THIRD! time the weekend after XMas, also while parked on the street corner next to the building, someone broke into my younger sister's car. The mgmt seems to be renting to younger and younger crowds, which is fine since I'm considered "younger", but if you count on sleeping Thurs, Fri, or Sat nights you might want to have a change of plans. Some of them played their music so loud on the other side of the building, I could hear it word for word as well as the crowd screaming the lyrics. The water flowing through the sink, bathtub, and toilet also contained some kind of bacteria or mold or something along those lines. two days after washing either one, there would be a huge pink ring around the tub drain, toilet bowl-where there was water, and the sink. If you move in you might want to keep an eye on that.
While it was good on my behalf, it shows a lack of organization on theirs. At the start of our move-out walkthru, the mgr informed me that they had lost their copy of my move-in report and if I didn't have a copy of mine, they couldn't charge me for anything. so like I said, it worked in my favor, not that I did any damage anyway, but still.. how could mgmt lose such an important document'
The low price and views were great. of course the low price refers to the area.. although I did find an apt on the same block that was cheaper and more spacious. The size of the apts are atrocious. I turned around and rented a one bedroom that was almost the same size as our two bedroom. all and all, find a better place to live. Like I said before, there were cheaper, larger apts on the same block.
