El Mirador

 

This is a diary of my first impressions of the El Mirador Apartments located in the picturesque community of Des Moines WA.

I stumbled upon this delightful apartment complex quite unexpectedly.

My West Seattle apartment building had recently been purchased by a developer who plans on converting the building to condos.

All of its one hundred plus tenants were given notice to vacate the premises as quickly as possible.

I began my search for a new home almost immediately, but finding a quality inexpensive apartment in the city of Seattle is almost impossible!!
Never in my wildest of dreams did I think I would find an apartment like those offered at the El Mirador.

The units are spacious,well kept and shopping is well within walking distance.

Another plus is the owner/manager lives on the grounds!
Today I filled out an application for residence at this wonderful vacation like community and should I be accepted I will update you on my experiences.
I don t know if anyone has bothered to keep a diary / log on their experience searching for and settling into a new apartment community before, but I believe El Mirador apartment community deserves such attention.

I left off by telling you how impressed I had been with the apartment,nearby shopping and that I hoped to win approval to move into El Mirador apartment community.

I moved in ten days ago and couldn t be more pleased.

Yesterday I received a call from the owner of the property asking if I was happy with my move in decision to which I voiced that I couldn t be more delighted.

I was impressed that he took the time to call and even more impressed when he asked me to call him directly should I have any concerns in the future.

it just does not get any better than that!! Neighbors are great, views are good and the air is fresh and clean...fishing is not bad either!!
I know all too well how stressful moving can be and that is why I wrote this little piece.
