So Easy living at the El Toro

I've got only the utmost respect for the management and maintenance staff at the El Toro. before I even lived here, Chris (manager) was interested in getting to know myself and my girlfriend through the application and interview process (plus the usual background check) and she's been really flexible with me after I lost my job and went on unemployment - I owe her so much

I'll admit to being a little noisy as a tenant. but the walls are thick enough that unless I'm really bumpin it, and the doors and windows are shut, I don't recieve many complaints - of course, in the summer with the windows open, it's a different story :-)

Any Time I've had a problem with my unit, Steve the maintenance guy arrives ASAP and always has things taken care of. And he's super nice

The management, and community pride themselves in being a culturally diverse, and all-age accepting property. Really Family Friendly, and SUPER CLEAN

However, the floorspace of my "efficient" model one bedroom is really an annexed studio with one and a half closets. some days I wish I'd decided to pay the little extra for a full on one bedroom - then i'd have space for my queen size bed, and a futon in the living room. I've been referring to it lately as my "dorm room"
and I don't have a patio, which I'm kinda bummed on - other units do, and residents are encouraged to decorate when they have patios

The Pool is really fun - but when a couple of tenants vacated and left all their stuff, the clubhouse became an intermediate storage facility, and has been locked for a while now.

and of course, summertime is the time for car stereos to be stolen by the bored local teenagers, with as many cops that patrol normandy park it doesn't happen often, but every once in a while someone gets hit - parking in the back lot of el toro is really safe compared to the front by the street
