There are A LOT of different reasons management makes up to come in your apartment and check on you. Every 2-3 months there's another fire alarm check, maintenance check, apt check, structure check... they have too many. We have had apt staff in our place 5 times in 2009. When we moved in we asked mgmt that staff/contractors not go into our apt without us there and that they NEVER wear shoes if the occasion comes up that they have to enter when we're not there. They don't listen and have literally left mud tracks on the kitchen floor and down the hallway carpet out the door twice. Mgmt said it wouldn't happen again after the first time... I gave up on that request. 2 times my wife was home and was able to say take your shoes off; the staffer that came in did. The other time there was no evidence that they did or didn't wear shoes. Needless to say they come in when they want, 3 times w/out us there.
The apartment complex is definitely for the young college type. Can get loud on the weekend, rarely on a weekday, and on every sunny day in the summer. The place is dark at night and not all security doors are shut.
Paid what we expected for Belltown. Parking is very tight but seems secure.
