I've lived at Emerald place for about a year and I have been very happy with my experience. Having lived in seattle most of my life, you get more bang for your buck here as the 2-bedroom units are less than a $1000.00 a month.

The Good things:
great price for amount of space
nice clean, vermin -free units with interesting fixtures and wall colors
nice big closets
nice big decks
the two managers here at really nice and on top of things

The Bad things:
some of the tenants are slobs and leave the laundry room a mess.
some of the tenants are REALLY loud, especially if you live underneath them.
some of the tenants seem to let their children run amuck, even into the street which scares the daylights out of me.
If your apartment deck happens to face the Silver dollar casino parking lot on International Blvd, you will have the pleasure/displeasure of witnessing drug deals and men getting "services" from the local prostitutes in their cars.

All in all, a great place to live.
