Yo!

Loved living there, but had to sue them after moving out.

WARNING: You will get the shaft when you move out.

PROS: Nonetheless, living there was a great experience. These guys had apartments that were VERY large for the price. Quite roomy, and a nice balcony with a view of Renton and Mt. Rainier. When I needed something fixed it got done. I never had a problem with hearing my neighbors through the walls, and was renting very close to the laundry room. The staff were very, very nice people and didn't have a problem with my small pets (guinea pigs). They have a nice pool and there's an excercise room (somewhere, --never actually used it though). Although it's technically in Skyway, it's on the outskirts and in one of the safer parts. Its more accurate to call this place as being part of Renton. There's a Fred Meyer just down the street across the Renton City Limits.

CONS: I had a splendid experience here, nothing to complain about at all.... until I moved out. In Washington State, it is illegal to use the security deposit for normal wear-and-tear. These guys tried to do exactly that. Nothing stated in the contract that they considered it "necessary cleaning" to repaint the walls on every move-out, --even for a short 6-month stay. They attempted to bill me for this (went way over my deposit) and even called a collection agency. I took them to small claims court and won, but it's a complicated mess to force them to pay what they owe me. I had to write to the credit agencies myself to take their claim against me out of my credit history.

The Bottom Line: Despite my negative experience with the move-out, I would still recommend them if you plan on living there a long time. The apartments are clean, inexpensive and often have a fantastic view of Mt. Rainier. Just plan on saying good-bye to the security deposit and then some. Access to I-5 is quick ONLY if you're going north. Access to I-405 might take a while. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
